City Story Game Centre Compatible

When game centre was released there was only one free game with game centre capabilities which was Farmville. Now there are multiple games including City Story. City story has the best game centre capabilities for a free game I found yet. City story allows you to play mini games against random players or you can choose friends from game centre.
To play a mini game you first have to find the mini game function. You can find the mini game function in the main menu
You are then directed to this screen where you can choose if you want to invite friends to play or play against random players in auto-match. In auto-match you can choose how many players you want to play against. It takes at least 30 seconds to connect to other players. The waiting time depends on how many players you invite (more takes longer),If you are playing against a friend or friends it takes longer depending how fast they respond to your request. If you are not inviting friends you can tap the play now button. You can choose how many random players you want to play against too. It does take longer to connect to three other players by then just one so if you want a quick game just connect to one other player in auto-match or just invite one friend to play.
The screen will then look like this while loading

You will then see this message.

There will then be a final connect to the other player/players. There will then be a countdown once the other player is ready.
Then you will receive a message telling you what job you get. For some reason I seem to always get a fire fighter. I've only got a doctor once when I played against a group of my game centre friends. If you are a fire fighter you put out the fires. If you are a doctor you click on the buildings with band-aids on them. If you are a police officer then you click on the buildings with police tape on them.
The game then starts. You have a one minute time limit for two players. The time limit does increase and there is a bigger reward when you play with more people. I have played the game a few times and haven't yet got the river and won the game. This seems to be very challenging to get the needed 75 points in tow player games and 150 in three player games

Note:
In game centre in the games you can go to city story and by tapping on the played recently section you can see who you recently played and add them to your game centre friends.
my city
I just started so it's still pretty empty

IPod Touch and IPhone Game Centre

Yesterday the 4.1 software upgrade was released for IPod touch and IPhone. With the software upgrade game centre was included. This application provides users the ability to play games with friends or strangers. Currently there is a small list of games that have game centre capabilities most of the games are not free and need to be purchased from the app store. The only free game that has game centre capabilities is farmville. Game centre was only released yesterday and because of this it is not fully operational yet. Supposedly game centre is in beta now and will only be fully operational in early 2011 ( this is only a rumour and more accurate information will probably be released soon). I just downloaded and installed the new update and farmville wasn't showing up in game centre games so it might take a few days. This is a great idea for an app and it is great that you have the option of playing against strangers and adding friends and playing with them. It is unfortunate that most of the games that can be played on game centre do cost money and aren't the cheap ones that cost around $1 the games on game centre are at least $4. Hopefully the amount of games compatible with game centre increases and there are more free games that work with game centre.
